COMMUNITY ASSESSMENT

A child safeguarding community assessment is an evaluation that examines the child protection systems and resources within your community. It assesses the existing policies, practices, and collaborations to ensure the safety and well-being of children. By engaging with stakeholders and evaluating key factors such as prevention programs, reporting mechanisms, and safety culture, the assessment helps identify areas for improvement and informs targeted interventions to enhance child protection efforts in your community.

The Research

Our research combines qualitative and quantitative data, including interviews, current data, and community evaluations. These methods provide essential information for the assessment.

The Tools

We employ tools such as thematic analysis, strategic planning sessions, and committee input to complete the assessment. These tools help us identify themes, develop strategies, and incorporate diverse perspectives for a comprehensive assessment.

The Outcome Deliverables

The desired outcomes of the initiative include increasing awareness, providing community education, and establishing a collective resource directory. Through these efforts, we aim to create a culture of safety where individuals are informed about child protection, empowered with knowledge and skills, and have access to necessary resources. By raising awareness, educating the community, and providing a centralized directory of resources, we strive to enhance the safety and well-being of children in our community.
